The November 12th meeting of the Rocky Mountain
Internet Users Group (RMIUG) will feature
a panel of Internet Service Providers (ISP's)
in Colorado. These companies offer individuals
and businesses access to the Internet worldwide
computer network, similar to the way phone
companies offer telephone connections. The
panel will be discussing service options,
prices, and will answer extensive questions
from the audience.

15, 1996
The Tuesday, October 15 meeting of the Rocky
Mountain Internet Users Group (RMIUG) will
feature a presentation called "Winning on
the Web and other Interactive Opportunities,"
by Chris Briggs (briggs@eriver.com),
Vice President and Creative Director of
Eagle River Interactive (www.eriver.com).
The talk will cover business opportunities
that are available now and in the future
from interactive solutions, along with an
industry overview of Internet trends and
future directions.

The Tuesday, September 10
meeting of the Rocky Mountain Internet Users
Group (RMIUG) will feature a panel discussion
on a new type of high-speed digital Internet
access, called ISDN (Integrated Services
Digital Network). The presentation is called
"Everything You Always Wanted To Know About
ISDN...But Were Afraid To Ask."

The Tuesday, August 13th meeting of the
Rocky Mountain Internet Users Group (RMIUG)
will feature a special presentation by William
Horton (william@horton.com) on "The
Good, the Bad and the Bleeding Edge in Web
Page Design." This will appeal to a wide
audience, ranging from beginner to expert.

The Tuesday, July 9th meeting of the Rocky
Mountain Internet Users Group (RMIUG) will
feature a panel of three speakers who will
discuss Real Estate on the Internet in Colorado.
Each panelist will talk for 15-20 minutes
on their particular topic, and then we'll
have a Q&A panel so the audience can ask
questions.

we regret that we will have to cancel the
Rocky Mountain Internet Users Group (RMIUG)
meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 11.

The Tuesday, May 14th meeting of the Rocky
Mountain Internet Users Group (RMIUG) will
feature a panel of three lawyers who will
discuss selected legal aspects of the Internet.
Each panelist will talk for 15-20 minutes
on a particular topic that interests him,
and then we'll have a Q&A so the audience
can ask about these and any other questions
about legal aspects of the Internet.

on the Internet. Our presenter is Greg Ching

subsidiary of Sun Microsystems, Inc.

The Tuesday, February 13 meeting of the
Rocky Mountain Internet Users Group (RMIUG)
will feature a high-level presentation on
a new technology called Java that is profoundly
impacting the World Wide Web. Java promises
to bring much more multimedia and interactivity
to Web sites than is currently possible
today. Mr. Dean Rizzuto (dean@xor.com),
World Wide Web Developer with XOR Network
Engineering will be presenting a non-technical
overview of Java and how it will affect
the Internet, and impact Web users. Dan
Murray will MC the meeting.
