The 1998 RMIUG BBQ was held at Alek's BBQ Grill on Saturday, August 22nd, 1998. Four of the Five RMIUG Exec's were there: Alek Komarnitsky, Art Smoot, Dan Murray, and Tom Bresnahan ... and the fifth, Bryan Buus, was not able to attend due to a out of town business trip.

Alek was worried that all 1,900 people on the rmiug-announce Email list would show up ... but those fears were unfounded as we ended up having about 40 people over the course of the afternoon/evening drop by and partake of food, drink, and croquet. We had people not only from the Denver Metro area, but also Grand Junction, Seattle, and Guyana - South America.

Our live T-1 video feed to the Internet was down, so Tom Bresnahan took these pictures with his Digital Camera to capture the spirit of things. BTW, if you see yourself in these pictures but a "?!?" above, pls Email me with a correction! ;-)
